Techstars offers qualified startups the opportunity to participate in curated accelerator programs, offering consulting services and a network of connections to advance their companies. The 2021 Techstars: Space Accelerator included companies in the deep tech sphere such quantum physics, autonomous vehicles/devices, and cyber security.Role: Design Associate
My main responsibilities were to design and consult on branding materials including logos, style guides, pitch decks, and deliverables for ten tech start-up companies throughout the four month program, working closely with each team to complete projects in a fast-paced environment. In addition to design, I also worked on prototyping and helping develop the web presence for several companies.Quick View

Hyperspec Customer Qualification
Prompt:
Create a visual design that would exist on the company website and be sent to customers detailing the process to working with Hyperspec.
Solution:
Due to the number of tiers of the qualification process, I chose to use A3 dimensions over A4 for the added length of the paper. My main goal for the design was to always keep the flow moving downwards from start to end, thus any upwards or sideways movement would only lead to the "6 month check-in" option.
Xairos Logo
Prompt:
Design a logo for a company specializing in Quantum Communications with a product focused on Time Sychronization over a three day period in order to meet our program launch deadline.
Solution:
I first spoke in-depth with the CEO and founder of the company, gaining a better understanding of the Quantum Physics at play in their products. We then expanded upon that conversation deciding to base the branding around the "X" in Xairos. The final design combines a bold X with the time synchronization and quantum communication of their company. Each of the two circles represent the electrons that serve as the nodes at each location while the connecting outlines serves as the communication between them.

Prompt:
Design a logo for a company specializing in computer vision for autonomous vehicles.
Solution:
The CEO did not have a definitive prompt on what they were looking for in their design, so we discussed about the company to get a better feel for their product. Since their product was based on cameras to accomplish their services, I designed the logo to represent a camera lens with an artificial brain inhabiting one half of the aperture.
